Flinders University Researcher, Professor Tracey Wade talks with Mark Aiston on Radio Adelaide’s ‘Mental Health Show’ about eating disorders and the work she is doing to help people with eating disorders.
Tracey has been awarded funding from Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation to further explore whether genetic factors play a role in a person’s risk of developing an eating disorder as part of an international research project. The funding means researchers can now launch genetic studies for other eating disorders such as bulimia nervosa and binge-eating disorder.
