The Breakthrough team is extremely fortunate to have a number of corporate partners that not only engage in the research work we do, but also raise their own funds to support us.

Charity golf days are the perfect opportunity to raise funds for mental health research and network with plenty of healthy tee-off competition. See how you can get involved below.

It is truly humbling to work with such amazing organisations that want to make an impact in their communities, and we are forever grateful to our corporate partners for sharing our passion in advocating and driving change in mental health research.

One way in which some of our partners do this is to host their own golf days. We had a number of golf days hosted for us by fabulous partners and friends of Breakthrough, including:

1. Amorini Foundation and Positive Group raised an incredible $35,000 for Breakthrough at their Golf Day in October last year. A big thank you has to go to Tom Caesar and Mitch Bosley who pulled everything together to not only support Breakthrough but also The Royal Society for the Blind (RSB).

2. Thank you so much to the teams at Asia Australis and HT Capital for its incredible generosity at their charity golf day in November last year. Collectively, the teams raised $31,500. What an incredible achievement!

3. The Catapult Foundation hosted its inaugural ‘Not Another Golf Day’ in May last year at the Kooyonga Golf Club which raised more than $60,000 for Breakthrough and Variety SA.

4. A big thank you to SA Power Networks Employee Foundation for an incredible golf day at the end of last year, where they raised $13,000. Rhys, Clayton and Peter from the Victor and Mt Barker depots did an extraordinary job of bringing everyone together for such a successful day.

Breakthrough will be hosting its own at Kooyonga Golf Club on Friday 20 May, thanks to the incredible support of James Thredgold Jewellers. Contact us on (08) 8236 8801 if you would like to be involved either as an attendee or a sponsor.
