Thank you to everyone who came along to our Spectacular Night of Big Talks for Little People!
The Queen’s Theatre was transformed into a colourful, school yard delight with our dancing ‘peeps’ and ‘feels’ showing off their moves around the venue.
We had the most amazing night, and we couldn’t have done it without your generous support. We raised more than $140,000 on the night which is absolutely incredible! That money will go directly back into funding children’s mental health research.
With one in seven children between the ages of four and seven experiencing a mental health issue – this is vital. We hope to be able to roll out the Big Talks program to every school in South Australia. Given the incredible preliminary results of bullying dropping by up to 25 per cent in the pilot schools, this program is something that is needed across our state.
Check out our Facebook page to see the full gallery of photos from the night.
Thank you to Jess Adamson and Mark Soderstrom for hosting the evening, along with our special guests Alan Young AM, John Mannion, Chris McDermott, Professor Tracey Wade, Professor Phillip Slee and of course the brave Debbie Ryan for sharing her story.
Thank you for creating a wonderful, respectful space for Debbie to share Maddy’s legacy. It’s for families like Debbie’s that we continue to invest in research.
A special thank you to Charli and Eliza for their beautiful singing and a final thank you to our wonderful sponsors, partners and those that donated auction prizes.
Thank you again for helping us drive a change in mental health.
