Business Lunches for Mental Health Research
Our quarterly business lunches are an opportunity for us to say thank you and give back to those who give so much to us.
These intimate lunches of 20–30 guests a time for us to share the impact directly from Breakthrough-funded researchers with corporate partners who provide significant support.
Breakthrough hosts four lunches per year, each themed around our research topics of Depression, Aboriginal Mental Health, Eating Disorders and Children’s Mental Health.
Nurturing Connections Through Shared Meals
The lunches are also an opportunity for us to connect our partners with each other and facilitate relationship building as a way to give back. We have seen new relationships form at these lunches which have gone on to create an incredible ripple effect in the community.
This collaborative spirit, fostered through these lunches, strengthens our mission to advance mental health research and support those in need.
What participants had to say
Recently I attended Breakthrough’s Aboriginal Mental Health Business Lunch at the magnificent Sean’s Kitchen. This was a fantastic event among varied business and philanthropic leaders with a shared vision to live in a world where no one suffers from mental illness, and hearing about the amazing work Breakthrough is doing to move towards this goal. “
