Hello and welcome to Breakthrough’s 2024 calendar! This live page outlines how you can actively engage and support Breakthrough throughout the year. 

The beginning of 2024 is an excellent opportunity to act on your New Year’s resolutions. In that spirit, we encourage you to kick off 2024 by creating your own fundraiser. Find tips and resources in our community hub! Additionally, consider participating in the first of four sessions of mental health first aid training to enhance your mental health literacy.

February and May offer ideal moments for sporting clubs to participate by hosting their own Community Round. This initiative aims to raise awareness and foster mental health conversations within a secure and supportive environment.

If celebrating and networking are your thing, mark your calendars to attend one of the two Breakthrough signature events—Biggest Men’s Meals and Mental Health in May, or the 2nd edition of the High Tea in August. Register your interest via the form, and we will notify you when tickets become available.

Our impact happens throughout the year, but it is in August when we will unveil our Impact Report, spotlighting the stories behind our mission. In September and October, we’ll underscore the connection between physical and mental health through Breakthrough Golf Day and Breakthrough’s Big Bike Ride. Registrations are open, allowing you to start your training now!

Breakthrough relies 100% on community support. We count on individuals like you to make a meaningful impact and fund mental health research that addresses the questions of why mental illness occurs, how to treat it, and how to prevent it from happening in the first place. Your donations, supporting our vital work, are appreciated at any time of the year.
